Dear Members,
You are invited to join us on March 24th for LATA "Capitol Hill Day". We ask you to check your calendar and make plans to join us in Baton Rouge on this date to speak with the Senators and Representatives about athletic training. This opportunity an excellent opportunity for you to get involved and make your voice heard in Baton Rouge.
If you know you will be attending, please contact your representative and ask them to take a photo in the rotunda at their convenience. Also, brings props or school items to show your school pride.

9:00 AM Arrive at bottom level security check point / Meet at cafeteria
10:00 AM Shake hands and talk to political members / Attend HW committee
12:30 PM LUNCH PRE-GAME MEAL at the BARRACK - BYOP (Bring Your Own Politician. This luncheon serves as a platform for LATA members and state leaders to discuss the advancement of athletic training in Louisiana. We will highlight our efforts in injury prevention, emergency care, and the ongoing legislative initiatives that ensure the safety of our athletes and physically active citizens. Thankful for many years of Successful Legislation to promote Health and Safety to the Public. Louisiana ranks #4 in the country in Secondary School Sports Safety - thanks to the creation of Concussion Bill 2011 and Remy Hidalgo act 259 (Serious Sports Injury).
