- 1P-4P: Workshop: "Blueprint for Safety: Building your EAP alongside the NATA Position Statement" (separate registration-3 CEU's)

- Join us for a collaborative session with Dr. Rebecca Hirschhorn from LSU, one of the authors of the latest NATA position statements. Together, we will work on restructuring, building, or updating your school or venue's Emergency Action Plan (EAP). Please bring both a digital and written copy of your current EAP. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a fully updated document, ready to share with your coaches, staff, and administration.
- This additional lecture series is limited to 40 registrants.

- Attendees will receive one complimentary drink ticket (included with event registration) for beer or wine. After the tickets are used, the event will transition to a cash bar. Additionally, heavy hors d'oeuvres will be provided.

Learning Objectives (list subject to change and additions)
- Identify risk factors for drug abuse
- Select appropriate special tests to perform during a shoulder evaluation in a throwing athlete
- Identify current surgical trends in ACL reconstructions
- Demonstrate appropriate rehabilitation techniques in throwing athletes
- Formulate appropriate treatment return to learn protocols post-concussion
- Recognize the signs and symptoms of a concussion
- Distinguish what needs to be included in a comprehensive sports medicine program

Early registration for the Symposium will open on March 19, 2025 (closes June 1, 2025) and will be based on the individual's current membership status with the LATA (questions regarding membership should be forwarded to latasecretary@gmail.com BEFORE processing online registration):

According to the educational levels described by the NATA's Professional Education Committee, this continuing education symposia offered is considered to be "Essential/Advanced" Levels
Education Symposium Cancellation/refund policy
Cancellations received at least 14 days before the event are 100% refundable; 0-14 days before the event are 50% refundable There will be no refund made the day of the event. If participants register and do not attend, they are still responsible for full payment. Participants will need to contact LATA Treasurer with a request for refund.
