LATA Business Meeting & Education Symposium

This year's Winter Business Meeting will also have an education opportunity.  Dr Eric Fuchs ATC NRAEMT, SMTC is bringing his "Athletic Trainers' Utilization and Clinical Establishment of IV Access and Fluid Administration to Improve Patient Care" EBP Lecture and Lab to Thibodaux.

EBP Course Info:

  • Seats for Dr Fuchs course are limited to 50 CEU Registrants.
  • Registration for the course will open on December 11th. 
  • Breakfast and Lunch is included in CEU registration

Winter Business Meeting Info:

  • Will be held at the conclusion of EBP Course
  • Committee Meetings will occur virtually, Members seeking information should contact their committee chair or LATA President-Elect for details.
  • Meeting Agenda will be linked here by January 4th
  • LATA Membership is required in order to vote on any LATA business during the Winter Business Meeting.
  • The LATA Secretary will be approving and adjusting the membership rolls during the first week of January.  Any questions regarding membership can be directed to latasecretary@gmail.com

COVID-19 Procedures:

  • Attendees will need to remain masked while attending education and meeting functions.
  • Screeners will be welcoming members upon entry to the Thibodaux Regional Wellness Center
  

LATA is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education for Certified Athletic Trainers.
