Nomination Period for Open Executive Committee Positions - Ends 2/9/18

Nominations for the next term of available LATA Executive Committee Positions have been opened on 1/13/18.  As per the LATA bylaws, two members must be nominated for office if the current office holder is not or can not run for re-election.  

• Nomination period 1/13/18 - 2/9/18.  Members can nominate potential candidates for office by emailing the LATA Past President at latapastpresident@gmail.com by the nomination deadline.
  
• Verification period 2/12/18 - 2/16/18.  Once nominations have ended, the LATA Past President will verify candidate eligibility and acceptance of nominations.  Candidate qualification can be found at the Association Bylaws. 
• Candidates will be announced the week of 2/19/18 on the LATA web page.
• Candidate Bio Materials for web page due 2/26/18
  
• Voting period March 19-30, 2016
• Winners will be announced the week of April 2, 2018

Election Requirements:

• Candidates are asked to submit a resume as well as a video bio (five (5) minutes max) to the LATA Past President once verified but no later than February 26, 2016.
• Voting will be online through the LATA web page.
• Candidates will need a simple majority to be elected to the position they seek.
