The 2016 Winter Meeting will be hosted by Ochsner Sports Medicine Institute on Saturday, December 10th from 8am-12pm.

Anyone is welcome to attend the meetings and events listed below. LATA membership is needed in order to vote in any LATA business during the Winter Business Meeting.

Schedule of Events

Friday - December 9th

4:00 pm - Executive Committee Meeting
7:00 pm - Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony of Gerard White and Dr Karen Lew Feirman

HOF Ceremony Location: Louisiana Super Dome Gate C Level 200 at the LATA HOF Display

Entry Fee: Reminder: will have to purchase ticket for games to enter the dome

Saturday - December 10th

8:00 am - Committee Meetings
9:30 am - General Business Meeting
11:00 am - Regional Rep Council

MEETING LOCATION: Ochsner Health Center - Elmwood : 1221 S. Clearview Pkwy. Harahan, LA 70121 Building A : 2nd floor in the OLI Conference Room (it is right next door to the cafeteria). This is the same location as last year.

PARKING: Members are asked to please parks in the public parking garage.

Hotel Note: Members will be responsible for their own hotel arrangements for the meeting.

NOTE: LATA will NOT be offering a Winter Educational Symposium this year.

LATA is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education for Certified Athletic Trainers.
